1. Where your audio recordings live
Raw audio recorded during class is stored locally on your own device (in your browser's local storage) so you can click any sentence to replay what the lecturer said. We do not upload full audio recordings to cloud storage for long-term retention.
2. Speech recognition & Study Notes generation
When you use Live Capture, Analyze a File, or generate Study Notes, audio chunks and lecture text (along with any reference slide text you choose to add) are transmitted over encrypted connections to speech recognition and AI generation services to return live bilingual captions, Live Summary, and structured Study Notes.
3. What is linked to your account
When you sign in and enable cloud sync, your recordings' text data (captions, Study Notes, and session settings) are linked to your personal account and isolated by account so no other user can view your sessions.
4. Account & notification information
We collect the email address you use to sign in for authentication and, when you opt in to Study Notes email notifications and the mail service is active, to send those notifications. During the current beta period, no payment card or billing information is collected.
5. Deleting data & closing your account
You can delete the audio, captions, and Study Notes of any session inside the app at any time. To export your data or request account deletion and removal of all synced cloud records, email [email protected] and we will process your request after verifying your identity.
